• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 K immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Use at same concentration as experimental antibody.
• Light Sensitivity: Tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-822-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in dark.
• Excitation/Emission: 488–561 nm / 775 nm; Laser: Blue, Green, Yellow-Green.
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune response, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cytotoxicity.
It is widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as therapeutic fields like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
