This antibody detects endogenous RAB40B protein at a molecular weight of approximately 34 kDa.
Purity is greater than 95% as confirmed by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Rab 40B is a 278 amino acid protein belonging to the small GTPase superfamily and the Rab family. It contains a SOCS box domain that mediates interactions with the Elongin BC complex, an adapter module in E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes. Rab 40B is conserved across multiple species including chimpanzee, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, and zebrafish, and is located on human chromosome 17q25.3. It has been associated with autosomal dominant moyamoya disease (MMD), an idiopathic steno-occlusive cerebrovascular disorder.
