Target Information
Pan Cadherin (CDH1, CDH2, CDH3, CDH4) 단백질은 칼슘 의존적 세포 간 접착을 매개하는 막관통 분자로, 형태발생 과정 중 세포 이동을 조절하고 동일한 cadherin 종 간의 접착을 통해 세포 표면 부착을 조절합니다.
N-cadherin의 기능은 actin-cytoskeleton과의 결합에 의존하며, C-말단 영역과 catenin 단백질의 상호작용을 통해 매개됩니다. 이 결합의 안정성은 β-catenin의 인산화/탈인산화에 의해 조절됩니다.
이 유전자는 cadherin 초가족에 속하는 고전적 cadherin으로, 5개의 extracellular cadherin 반복, 막관통 영역, 그리고 고도로 보존된 세포질 꼬리를 포함합니다. 단백질은 gastrulation 과정에서 기능하며 좌우 비대칭성 확립에 필요합니다. 또한 중추신경계 시냅스에서 세포 간 접착을 매개하는 역할을 합니다.
