A9E4 항체는 전엽 뇌하수체의 GnRH 수용체와 반응합니다. GnRH는 뇌하수체의 생식샘 자극세포를 자극하여 황체형성호르몬(LH)과 난포자극호르몬(FSH)을 분비하게 합니다. 해당 수용체는 7개의 소수성 막관통 영역과 친수성 세포외 및 세포내 루프를 가지는 G-단백질 결합 수용체(GPCR)의 특징을 지닙니다. 난소암 및 유방암과 같은 일부 암에서도 GnRH 수용체가 발현됩니다.
Target Information
GnRHR 유전자는 제1형 생식샘자극호르몬 방출 호르몬 수용체를 암호화합니다. 이 수용체는 7회 막관통 G-단백질 결합 수용체(GPCR) 계열에 속하며, 뇌하수체 생식샘 자극세포뿐만 아니라 림프구, 유방, 난소, 전립선에서도 발현됩니다. GnRH 결합 후 G-단백질과 결합하여 인지질이노시톨-칼슘 신호전달 경로를 활성화하고, LH 및 FSH 분비를 유도합니다. 이 유전자의 결함은 저생식샘자극성 성선기능저하증(HH)을 초래할 수 있습니다. 또한 다양한 전사 개시 부위와 다중 polyA 신호를 통해 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
