Target Information
Jumonji (JARID2) is a nuclear protein involved in the negative regulation of cell growth. It is essential for neural tube formation and normal heart development and function. JARID2 belongs to a family of proteins containing the JmjC domain, which is implicated in chromatin regulation through histone demethylation.
