Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
FMR1 binds RNA and associates with polysomes, potentially involved in mRNA trafficking from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.
A trinucleotide repeat expansion (55–230 copies) in the 5’ UTR causes fragile X syndrome and may also be linked to premature ovarian failure.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
