Target Information
Cyclin D1 (PRAD-1, bcl-1)는 세포 주기 조절에 핵심적인 단백질로, cdk4 및 cdk6과 결합하여 Rb 단백질을 인산화시킵니다. 다양한 인간 종양에서 과발현되는 원형암유전자로 알려져 있으며, 세포 주기 G1/S 전이 조절에 관여합니다. Cyclin D1은 성장 인자 자극에 따라 CDK4 또는 CDK6과 복합체를 형성하여 Rb 단백질의 성장 억제 기능을 비활성화합니다. 또한 p21Cip1, p27Kip1과 같은 CDK 억제제의 작용을 조절합니다. Cyclin D1의 불안정성과 유비퀴틴 매개 분해는 G1/S 단계 정지에 기여합니다. Cyclin D1은 세포 주기 동안 단백질 양의 주기적 변화를 보이는 cyclin 계열에 속하며, CDK 활성 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 유전자 변이, 증폭 및 과발현은 종양 발생과 관련이 있습니다.
