Target Information
M-phase inducer phosphatase 3 (CDC25C) is an enzyme encoded by the CDC25C gene in humans. It plays a key role in regulating cell division by dephosphorylating cyclin B-bound CDC2 (CDK1), thereby triggering entry into mitosis. The protein belongs to the Cdc25 phosphatase family and may also suppress p53-induced growth arrest. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified, though their full-length nature is not always known.
