Target Information
S100A7 유전자는 EF-hand 칼슘 결합 모티프를 포함하는 S100 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다.
이 단백질은 세포질 및 핵에 존재하며, 세포 주기 진행과 분화 같은 다양한 세포 과정의 조절에 관여합니다.
S100 유전자는 염색체 1q21에 군집되어 있으며, S100A7은 N-말단 EF-hand의 칼슘 결합 능력이 결여된 특징이 있습니다.
이 단백질은 건선 환자의 피부 병변에서 과발현되지만, 가족성 건선 감수성 유전자로는 제외되었습니다.
정확한 생리적 기능은 아직 명확히 밝혀지지 않았습니다.
