Pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH)는 미토콘드리아 내 다효소 복합체로, 피루브산의 산화적 탈카르복실화를 촉매하여 탄수화물 대사 항상성 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. PDH의 효소 활성은 인산화 및 탈인산화에 의해 조절되며, pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase (PDK)에 의한 인산화는 효소의 불활성화를 유도합니다.
