Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
EphA1 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. These receptors mediate developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system.
EphA1 receptors contain a single kinase domain and an extracellular region with a cysteine-rich domain and two fibronectin type III repeats.
They are divided into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and ligand affinity for ephrin-A or ephrin-B.
EphA1 is expressed in certain human cancer cell lines and is implicated in carcinogenesis.
