Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

HOXD9 is a sequence-specific transcription factor that is part of a developmental regulatory system providing cells with positional identities along the anterior-posterior axis. It belongs to the homeobox gene family, which encodes highly conserved transcription factors essential for morphogenesis in multicellular organisms.

Mammals possess four similar homeobox gene clusters (HOXA, HOXB, HOXC, HOXD) located on different chromosomes, each containing 9–11 genes arranged in tandem. HOXD9 is located in the 2q31–2q37 region. Deletions of this cluster are associated with severe limb and genital abnormalities. The exact role of this gene remains under investigation.
