Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Anaplastic Lymphoma Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (ALK) belongs to the insulin receptor superfamily and is essential for brain development.
Mutations, rearrangements, and amplifications of the ALK gene are associated with various tumors, including:
- Anaplastic large cell lymphoma
- Neuroblastoma
- Non-small cell lung cancer
Chromosomal rearrangement between ALK (chromosome 2) and NPM (chromosome 5) leads to formation of the NPM-ALK fusion gene, which is oncogenic.
ALK encodes a receptor tyrosine kinase with transmembrane and extracellular domains, showing high similarity to LTK.
It plays a critical role in neuronal development and signaling within the nervous system.
