Target Information
Cytokeratins are a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by significant biochemical diversity. In human epithelial tissues, at least 20 different cytokeratin polypeptides are expressed, ranging in molecular weight from 40 kDa to 68 kDa and isoelectric pH from 4.9 to 7.8. The expression pattern of cytokeratins varies depending on the type and differentiation state of the epithelium.
