Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SIRT5 is a human member of the sirtuin family (Sir2-like proteins), found in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
All sirtuins share a conserved core domain involved in NAD metabolism and potential mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity.
Recent studies suggest sirtuins may participate in coupled activation mechanisms between NAD metabolism and histone deacetylation.
