For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The 26S proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex composed of a 20S core and a 19S regulator.

• The 20S core consists of four rings of 28 non-identical subunits (two α and two β rings).
• The 19S regulator includes a base with ATPase and non-ATPase subunits, and a lid with up to 10 non-ATPase subunits.
  Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent, non-lysosomal pathway.
  The immunoproteasome variant processes class I MHC peptides.
  PSMD2 encodes a non-ATPase subunit of the 19S regulator lid and may also participate in TNF signaling via interaction with TNF type 1 receptor.
  A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 1.
