• In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-1F5, IL-1F6, and IL-1F9 is observed.
• Less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-1F8, human IL-1F7, IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-1ra, and IL-18.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
• Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).

Target Information

The IL-1 family consists of 11 structurally related ligands, including IL-36α (IL-1F6), IL-36β (IL-1F8), and IL-36γ (IL-1F9).
IL-36α is highly expressed in psoriatic plaques and uniquely expressed by T cells, monocytes, and B cells.
It is primarily found in skin and lymphoid tissues and to a lesser extent in fetal brain, trachea, stomach, and intestine.
IL-36α signals through IL-1Rrp2 (IL-1R6) and IL-RAcP receptors, acting as an agonist of NF-κB and MAPK pathways.
It induces production of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines such as IL-6, IL-8, BD-2, and BD-3.
