Target Information
BMPR2는 bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptor 계열의 transmembrane serine/threonine kinase로, BMP 리간드와 결합하여 endochondral bone formation 및 embryogenesis에 관여합니다. BMPR2의 기능 이상은 primary pulmonary hypertension(PPH) 및 pulmonary venoocclusive disease와 관련이 있으며, 인간 T세포 분화에도 중요한 역할을 합니다. BMP 신호전달은 type I (50–55 kDa) 및 type II (70–80 kDa) receptor 복합체를 통해 이루어지며, type II receptor는 ligand 결합에 필요하고 type I receptor는 신호전달에 필수적입니다.
