Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
STAT1 (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 1) is a transcription factor activated by interferons (α, β, γ), EGF, PDGF, and IL6. It regulates genes involved in cell growth, apoptosis, immune response, and lipid metabolism.
Located on chromosome 2, STAT1 activation occurs through phosphorylation by JAK kinases, followed by nuclear translocation to regulate gene transcription.
STAT1, STAT3, STAT5a, and STAT5b show wide activation profiles. STAT1 responds to multiple ligands including:
- IFN family (IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, IL-10)
- gp130 family (IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF)
- Receptor tyrosine kinases (EGF, PDGF, CSF-1)
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct STAT1 isoforms have been described.
