Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human TAFA1, TAFA2, TAFA3, and TAFA4.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
TAFA5 acts as a chemokine-like protein regulating cell proliferation and migration via GPCRs such as S1PR2 and FPR2.
It stimulates macrophage migration through MAPK3/ERK1 and AKT1 pathways and inhibits osteoclast formation by blocking TNFSF11/RANKL-induced gene expression.
TAFA5 also functions as an adipokine, negatively regulating vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration through GPCR S1PR2 and RHOA signaling, thereby inhibiting injury-induced neointima formation in femoral arteries.
