- In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat NLGN1, recombinant human NLGN2, and NLGN3 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information
Neuroligin-4, X-linked (NLGN4X, also known as NLGN4, Neuroligin-4, Neuroligin 4X) is a postsynaptic cell-adhesion molecule that interacts with presynaptic cell-surface neurexins. These interactions bridge the synaptic cleft and play an essential role in synaptic transmission between neurons.
Humans have five neuroligin genes: NLGN1, NLGN2, NLGN3, NLGN4X, and NLGN4Y. Mutations in NLGN3 and NLGN4X are associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Expression of NLGN4X has been reported in human pluripotent stem cells.
