Target Information
TMIGD2 (Transmembrane and Immunoglobulin Domain Containing 1), also known as IGPR1 (Immunoglobulin-Containing and Proline-Rich Receptor 1), is a novel adhesion molecule expressed in multiple tissues, primarily in epithelial and endothelial cells.
It is involved in angiogenesis, regulation of cellular morphology, homophilic cell aggregation, and cell-cell interaction. TMIGD2 activity modulates actin stress fiber formation and focal adhesion, reducing cell migration.
