Target Information
SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid Protein is associated with nucleic acid and is the most abundant protein in coronavirus. Due to its strong immunogenicity, it has potential diagnostic value. The N protein is an RNA-binding protein essential for viral genome packaging and contains three dynamic disordered regions with transiently-helical binding motifs. The two folded domains interact minimally, making the full-length N protein flexible and multivalent. SARS-CoV-2 causes illnesses ranging from the common cold to severe diseases.
