Product Specific Information

For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The HOXC11 gene belongs to the homeobox family, encoding transcription factors crucial for morphogenesis in multicellular organisms. Mammals have four homeobox gene clusters (HOXA, HOXB, HOXC, HOXD) located on different chromosomes.
HOXC11 is part of the HOXC cluster on chromosome 12, binds to the promoter of lactase-phlorizin hydrolase, and may contribute to early intestinal development.
An alternatively spliced variant encoding a shorter isoform has been described, though its full-length sequence remains undetermined.
