- Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset (95%); Dog, Panda (89%); Mouse, Rat, Elephant, Horse, Rabbit, Pig (84%). - For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

PTPMT1는 phosphatidylglycerophosphate (PGP)를 phosphatidylglycerol (PG)로 탈인산화하는 lipid phosphatase입니다.
PGP는 cardiolipin 생합성 경로의 필수 중간체로, 미토콘드리아 막의 무결성과 기능을 조절합니다.
또한 phosphoprotein 기질에 대한 phosphatase 활성을 가지며, 미토콘드리아 단백질의 탈인산화를 매개하여 ATP 생산에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
Ser/Thr 잔기에 인산화된 단백질에 대한 선호성을 가지며, 췌장 베타세포에서 인슐린 분비 조절에도 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
