Product Specific Information
- Purified to near homogeneity as judged by SDS-PAGE.
- Produced in vitro using hybridomas grown in serum-free medium, followed by biochemical fractionation.
- Detects a band at approximately 36 kDa.
- Use human heart mitochondria as a positive control.
Target Information
NDUFA9 (NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 9, mitochondrial), also known as NDUFS2L or CI-39kD, belongs to the complex I NDUFA9 subunit family.
It plays a role in stabilizing the junction between membrane and matrix arms of complex I, a late assembly step critical for complex I biogenesis and activity.
