For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Histone deacetylase 4 (HDAC4) is responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4).
This process contributes to epigenetic repression and plays a key role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental processes.
HDAC4 interacts with MEF2A, MEF2C, and MEF2D in muscle maturation and participates in MTA1-mediated epigenetic regulation of ESR1 expression in breast cancer.
Mutations in the HDAC4 gene are associated with Brachydactyly-mental retardation syndrome (BDMR).
