For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform desalting again using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Histone deacetylase 4 (HDAC4) deacetylates lysine residues on core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4), contributing to epigenetic repression.
It plays roles in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental processes.
HDAC4 interacts with myocyte enhancer factors (MEF2A, MEF2C, MEF2D) during muscle maturation and participates in MTA1-mediated epigenetic regulation of ESR1 expression in breast cancer.
Mutations in the HDAC4 gene are associated with Brachydactyly-mental retardation syndrome (BDMR).
