Target Information
CD5는 67 kDa의 인간 T-림프구 단일 사슬 막관통 당단백질로, 모든 성숙 T-림프구, 대부분의 흉선세포, 다수의 T세포 백혈병 및 림프종에서 발현된다.
또한 활성화된 B세포의 일부 아형에서도 발현되며, T세포 증식 조절에 관여하는 수용체로 작용할 수 있다.
CD5는 흉선세포의 약 95%, 말초혈액 림프구의 약 72%에서 발현된다. 림프절에서는 주로 T세포 영역에서 반응성이 나타난다.
CD5 이상은 흉선암 및 Richter 증후군과 관련이 있다.
