These proteins include ankyrin repeat sequences and a SOCS box domain, which couples SOCS proteins and their binding partners with the elongin B and C complex, potentially targeting them for degradation.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene, though their full-length sequences are not fully characterized.
