Product Specific Information

The eBioCB-CALLA monoclonal antibody recognizes human CD10 (CALLA, NEP, enkephalinase, Neprilysin), a 100 kDa type II cell surface glycoprotein expressed in most acute lymphoblastic leukemias (ALL). CD10 is a Zn²⁺-dependent metallo-peptidase involved in chemotactic and inflammatory regulation. Expression occurs in B cells, enterocytes, renal tubules, and glomeruli.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested on human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.2 µg) per test in 100 µL final volume. Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains instead.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
• Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails or single-color controls.

Target Information

CD10 (CALLA) is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity, inactivating various biologically active peptides. It is expressed in lymphoblastic, Burkitt’s, and follicular germinal center lymphomas, immature B cells, and epithelial cells of kidney and gut. CD10 cleaves peptides at hydrophobic residues and regulates peptide hormones such as glucagon, enkephalins, and bradykinin. It is a 100 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein encoded by a single-copy gene with four mRNA transcripts.
