Target Information
GRK6 is a member of the guanine nucleotide-binding protein coupled receptor kinase subfamily of the serine/threonine protein kinase family.
GRK6 phosphorylates the activated forms of G protein-coupled receptors to initiate their deactivation.
Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for GRK6.
