Reconstitution:

• Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
• Ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Store upon arrival at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

The sodium/potassium ATPase is an integral membrane enzyme found in all cells of higher organisms and is responsible for ATP-dependent transport of sodium and potassium across the cell membrane.
This enzyme is related to other ATPases such as sarcoplasmic and endoplasmic reticulum calcium ATPase (SERCA) and plasma membrane calcium ATPase (PMCA).
It consists of a large transmembrane catalytic alpha subunit and a smaller glycoprotein beta subunit.
Three alpha isoforms (α1, α2, α3) and two beta isoforms (β1, β2) are encoded by multigene families.
The α1 and β isoforms are expressed ubiquitously, while α2 and α3 show tissue-specific expression.
The alpha-3 subunit is found in neuronal, skeletal, cardiac muscle, lung, and stomach tissues.
