Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships lyophilized at room temperature and should be stored at -20°C upon arrival.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase is a P-type cation transport ATPase responsible for maintaining the electrochemical gradients of Na⁺ and K⁺ ions across the plasma membrane. These gradients are critical for osmoregulation, sodium-coupled transport of molecules, and electrical excitability in nerve and muscle cells.
The enzyme consists of two subunits: a large catalytic α-subunit and a smaller glycoprotein β-subunit.
This antibody targets the α1 subunit encoded by the ATP1A1 gene, for which multiple transcript variants and isoforms have been identified.
