Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, store aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freezing and thawing cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Atp1a2 encodes an Na⁺/K⁺ ATPase, a membrane protein composed of two subunits — alpha and beta.
This pump maintains essential electrochemical gradients by actively transporting Na⁺ and K⁺ ions across the plasma membrane.
The Atp1a2 protein belongs to the family of P-type cation transport ATPases and the subfamily of Na⁺/K⁺-ATPases.
These gradients are critical for osmoregulation, sodium-coupled transport, and electrical excitability of nerve and muscle cells.
Mutations in the Atp1a2 gene are associated with familial hemiplegic migraine type 2 and alternating hemiplegia of childhood.
