Target Information
Strep-tag II는 8개의 아미노산(Trp-Ser-His-Pro-Gln-Phe-Glu-Lys)으로 구성된 최소 서열로, 스트렙타비딘(streptavidin)에 대한 고유한 친화성을 지니며 다양한 형태의 재조합 단백질에 융합될 수 있습니다.
원래의 Strep-tag은 9개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 스트렙타비딘에 대한 높은 특이성과 친화성을 가졌으나, 재조합 단백질의 C-말단에만 부착이 가능했습니다. 이를 N-말단에도 부착할 수 있도록 재설계한 변형 서열이 Strep-tag II입니다.
