Target Information
Expression of the KIAA1324 gene is induced by estrogen. The encoded protein is a transmembrane protein correlated with survival in certain carcinomas (PMID: 21102415) and may play a role in cellular stress response (PMID: 21072319).
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
