VI-PL2 단클론 항체는 인간 CD61(Integrin β3, GPIIIa)에 반응합니다. CD61은 β integrin 계열의 멤버로, 다양한 세포(백혈구, 혈소판, 내피세포, 평활근세포)에서 발현되며, CD41 및 CD51과 결합하여 αIIbβ3(CD41/CD61) 및 αvβ3(CD51/CD61) 복합체를 형성합니다. 이러한 복합체는 세포 부착, 이동, 증식 및 분화에 관여합니다.

CD41/CD61 복합체는 혈소판 응집에 관련되며, fibrinogen, von Willebrand Factor(vWF), fibronectin과 결합합니다. CD51/CD61 복합체는 vitronectin, fibronectin, vWF, fibrinogen과 결합하여 혈관내피세포의 이동 및 생존에 중요한 역할을 합니다.

VI-PL2 항체는 인간 외에도 개, 비인간 영장류(바분, 원숭이, 시노몰로거스)에서도 교차 반응을 보입니다.

Target Information

CD61(GPIIIa, ITGB3)은 거핵세포, 혈소판 및 그 전구세포에서 발견되는 당단백질로, fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor, vitronectin 등에 대한 수용체 역할을 합니다. CD61은 αIIb(CD41) 또는 αV(CD51) integrin과 결합하여 세포 부착 및 신호전달에 관여합니다.

CD61 기능 이상은 Glanzmann Thrombasthenia 및 Platelet type-16 Bleeding Disorder와 관련이 있습니다.
