Target Information
Carbonic anhydrase III (CAIII)는 탄산 무수화효소 동형효소를 암호화하는 다유전자 패밀리의 구성원입니다. 이 효소들은 이산화탄소의 가역적 수화 반응을 촉매하며, 여러 세포 유형에서 다르게 발현됩니다.
CA3 유전자는 골격근에서 높은 수준으로, 심근과 평활근에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다. Duchenne 근이영양증 보인자의 일부는 정상보다 높은 CA3 수준을 나타냅니다. 이 유전자는 약 10.3 kb 길이이며, 7개의 엑손과 6개의 인트론을 포함합니다.
