Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse CA4 is observed.
- Less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CA1, CA2, CA3, CA8, CA9, CA10, CA12, and CA13.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

They are involved in biological processes such as:

- Acid-base balance and bone resorption
- Formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid
This gene encodes a glycosylphosphatidyl-inositol-anchored membrane isozyme expressed on the luminal surfaces of pulmonary capillaries and proximal renal tubules. Its exact function is not fully understood, but it may play a role in inherited renal abnormalities of bicarbonate transport.
