Product Specific Information
Description:
The 93 monoclonal antibody reacts with an epitope shared by mouse CD16 and CD32. CD16 (Fc gamma III Receptor) and CD32 (Fc gamma II Receptor) are low-affinity receptors for the mouse IgG Fc portion, expressed by B cells, monocyte/macrophages, NK cells, and neutrophils.
Applications Reported:
This antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration is recommended.
Fluorochrome Information:
Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 661 (BUV661) emits at 660 nm and is intended for cytometers equipped with a 355 nm UV laser. Ensure instrument compatibility.
Buffer Recommendations:
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
Handling Notes:
- Light sensitive: Protect from light.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information
CD16 (FcγRIII) is a 50–65 kDa cell surface molecule expressed in two forms: a transmembrane form on NK cells and some T cells, and a GPI-linked form on granulocytes. It mediates antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
CD32 (FcγRII) is a 40 kDa glycoprotein mediating endocytosis, secretion, cytotoxicity, and immunomodulation. Expressed by B cells, monocytes, granulocytes, and platelets. Variations in CD32 gene expression may be linked to susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
