MA3-069 detects TAF10 from human, rat, and non-human primate samples but not from mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in Western blot, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry applications.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide coupled to ovalalbumin (aa 1–20).

Target Information

Initiation of transcription by RNA polymerase II requires the activities of more than 70 polypeptides.
Transcription factor IID (TFIID) coordinates these activities, binding to the core promoter, serving as a scaffold for assembly, and channeling regulatory signals.
TFIID consists of the TATA-binding protein (TBP) and TBP-associated factors (TAFs), which participate in basal transcription, act as coactivators, and facilitate complex assembly.
TAF10 encodes a small subunit of TFIID required for transcriptional activation by the estrogen receptor, cell cycle progression, and certain differentiation programs.
