Target Information
IL-15 (Interleukin 15)은 T세포 및 자연살해세포(NK cell)의 활성화와 증식을 조절하는 사이토카인입니다. IL-15와 IL-2는 공통 수용체 서브유닛을 공유하며, 상호 작용을 통해 면역 반응을 조절합니다.
IL-15는 JAK kinase 활성화와 STAT3, STAT5, STAT6의 인산화를 유도하며, Bcl-xL 발현을 증가시켜 세포 자멸을 억제할 수 있습니다.
또한 IL-15는 T 및 B 림프구, NK 세포, 대식세포, 단핵구의 성장과 분화에 관여하며, 자가면역 질환 및 염증성 질환(류머티즘 관절염, 건선, 폐 염증 등)과 관련이 있습니다.
최근 연구에서는 IL-15의 중화가 건선 및 당뇨 모델에서 유익한 효과를 보이는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
