Target Information
SIPA1 유전자는 mitogen에 의해 유도되는 GTPase 활성화 단백질을 암호화합니다.
이 단백질은 Ras 관련 조절 단백질 Rap1 및 Rap2에 대한 특이적인 GAP 활성을 나타내며, Ran이나 다른 작은 GTPase에는 작용하지 않습니다.
비정상적 또는 조기 발현 시 세포주기 진행을 방해할 수 있으며, perinuclear 영역에 위치합니다.
현재까지 동일한 isoform을 암호화하는 두 가지 alternative splicing 변이가 확인되었습니다.
