This antibody detects endogenous levels of CDC25C only when phosphorylated at Ser198.
Target Information
M-phase inducer phosphatase 3 is an enzyme encoded by the human CDC25C gene. This gene is highly conserved and plays a key role in regulating cell division. The encoded protein is a tyrosine phosphatase belonging to the Cdc25 phosphatase family. It dephosphorylates cyclin B-bound CDC2 (CDK1) to trigger mitosis entry and may suppress p53-induced growth arrest. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, though many full-length forms remain uncharacterized.
