Product Specific Information

This antibody detects endogenous levels of Ras-GRF1 only when phosphorylated at Ser927.

Target Information

RASGRF1 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) similar to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae CDC25 gene product. It stimulates the dissociation of GDP from RAS protein. Mouse studies indicate that Ras-GEF activity of this protein in the brain can be activated by Ca²⁺ influx, muscarinic receptors, and G protein βγ subunits. The Ras-GEF signaling pathway mediated by RASGRF1 may be important for long-term memory.
