Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The p95 gene (also known as NBS1 or nibrin) is part of the hMre11/hRad50 double-strand break complex. This complex is associated with Nijmegen breakage syndrome, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by increased cancer incidence, cell cycle checkpoint defects, and sensitivity to ionizing radiation. It provides a direct molecular link between double-strand break repair and cell cycle checkpoint functions.
