Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TYMP (Thymidine Phosphorylase), also known as PD-ECGF or Gliostatin, is a platelet-derived endothelial growth factor.
It catalyzes the reversible phosphorolytic cleavage of thymidine and deoxyuridine to their corresponding bases and 2-deoxyribose-1-phosphate in the presence of inorganic orthophosphate.
TYMP exhibits chemotactic and mitogenic activity for endothelial cells and functions as a non-heparin-binding angiogenic factor present in platelets.
It also plays a role in converting fluoropyrimidines, cytotoxic agents used in cancer therapy, into active metabolites.
