This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal clones for production.

This antibody specifically recognizes Human OSTM1.


Target Information

The OSTM1 gene encodes a protein involved in the degradation of G proteins via the ubiquitin-dependent proteasome pathway.
It binds to members of subfamily A of the regulator of G-protein signaling (RGS) family through an N-terminal leucine-rich region.
This protein contains a central RING finger-like domain and exhibits E3 ubiquitin ligase activity.
It is highly conserved across species from flies to humans.
Defects in this gene may cause autosomal recessive infantile malignant osteopetrosis.
