This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

IL-12 is an interleukin produced by dendritic cells, neutrophils, macrophages, and human lymphoblastoid cells upon antigenic stimulation. It is a heterodimeric cytokine encoded by IL-12A (p35) and IL-12B (p40).

IL-23 is another heterodimeric cytokine sharing the IL-12B subunit with IL-12, along with IL-23A (IL-23p19).
Functionally, IL-12 upregulates vascular endothelial adhesion molecule-1 on endothelium, directs leukocytes toward tumors, and facilitates ischemic-hemorrhagic necrosis of tumor tissue.
IL-23, in contrast, stimulates memory T-cells and is essential for Th17 cell function, which drives neutrophil chemokine expression and pro-inflammatory cytokine production.
